The gang Beats Boggs: Ladies Reboot
Criminal Activities
Assault
Threatening another with imminent physical harm or displaying a weapon in a manner that puts others in reasonable fear of harm; in many jurisdictions brandishing a firearm or threatening violence is a criminal offense.
Situation:
"Gail ('The Snail') confronts and physically attacks another passenger during the onboard dispute over wine and seating—shouts like 'I'm gonna salt you, Snail!' and immediate cries of 'Stop it! Help me!' indicate a physical assault occurred during the flight."
Distribution of a controlled substance
Artemis knowingly prepared and served a beverage aboard a commercial flight that she admitted was spiked with ayahuasca (a DMT-containing brew). Under U.S. federal and state law this can constitute possession and distribution of a controlled substance (e.g., violations of the Controlled Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. § 841 et seq.), and administering/poisoning another person with a controlled substance (which can also support assault/battery or related criminal charges). Distribution/administration of Schedule I substances on an aircraft or to other persons is a federal and state crime; causing intoxication/impairment that endangers others may give rise to additional federal charges (and state charges) related to endangerment or assault.
Situation:
"On the plane Artemis sells a 'uni-tea' to fellow passengers, repeatedly urging them to drink it. Near the episode's end a character states, 'That tea that I served was spiked with ayahuasca,' after which multiple passengers become violently ill and hallucinate and the flight is diverted. Artemis both sold/served the drugged beverage and profited from on-board sales."
