Theft
Unauthorized taking and consumption of another person's personal property (petty theft/larceny): intentionally taking possession of property belonging to someone else without that person's consent.
Situation:
"Charlie admits, "I stole Frank's credit card." The gang then uses Frank's card to buy lunch (dialogue acknowledges they are "buying this food with his stolen credit card")."
Trespass / False impersonation to obtain access
Entering or remaining on another's property or in nonpublic areas without authorization; here combined with false representation (pretending to be a new employee) to gain access to restricted workplace areas.
Situation:
"Dee infiltrates the fish factory claiming "Name's Dee. I'm new around here" and attempts to access the manager's/office area to "gather intel," including asking about going up to the "secret private office," which is a knowingly false representation to gain entry and access."
Unauthorized access to a computer/network resource (stealing Wi‑Fi)
Connecting to and using another party's private network or Internet service without authorization, which can constitute unlawful access under various computer-fraud and state statutes.
Situation:
"At one point a member of the gang says, "Oh, and by the way, we stole our Wi‑Fi from that place, too," admitting they were using the neighboring factory's network without permission."
