Making a false bomb threat

Knowingly making a false report or threat about an explosive device or other emergency to law enforcement or emergency services. Such conduct is criminal under state laws and can also violate federal statutes (e.g., laws prohibiting false reports about explosives or other threats).

Situation:

"A character calls 911 and states, "I'd like to report a bomb threat," which leads to the theater being notified and the audience told a bomb threat has been received. Other characters identify Frank as the person who "Thundergunned" them (i.e., called in the threat)."

Implicated: Frank Reynolds
Crime #1

Public Lewdness

Engaging in explicit sexual activity in a public place where such conduct can be observed by others, typically charged as public indecency, lewdness, or disorderly conduct under state law.

Situation:

"During the screening, characters state that Dennis is "getting a hand job in the back" (he and the woman identified as Elena are engaging in sexual activity inside the movie theater), which constitutes public sexual conduct in a public venue."

Crime #1

Unauthorized impersonation

Misrepresenting oneself as the operator or official in charge of a commercial service (impersonation/unauthorized operation) and using that service without authorization or proper credentials (theft of services). Operating a vessel or vehicle without authorization or creating a dangerous situation for paying passengers may also expose one to criminal liability (e.g., reckless endangerment, unauthorized operation).

Situation:

"Frank takes over a river tour by telling passengers, "I'm your new captain, Frank," conducts an unofficial tour while lacking credentials/authorization, and then jumps off/abandons the passengers, leaving them stranded and complaining. This involves impersonation/unauthorized operation of the tour and depriving the paying customers of the service they purchased."
